Huanzhou, formerly known as Longyinzhou, Changzhou or Asia, is one of the five islands of Xuanwu Lake, with an area of 12.77 hectares. It got the name because it embraces Yingzhou like a Jade Jue, and it is known for "Huanzhou Mists and Willows". The history of the island can be traced back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty of the Six Dynasties, and it was formed due to the construction of Huanghu Archive in the Ming Dynasty, when there were 90 Huangce storerooms on this island, storing the Huangce from the fifteenth year of Hongzhi (1502) to the first year of Jiajing (1522). There are many historical sites on the island, such as Guopu Pier, Lama Temple, Nuona Pagoda, A Boy worshiping Guanyin Stone, Mifu Worshiping Stone, Rose Garden, Lotus Square, etc.
